In addition to the existing collection of DevTV sessions, we have just posted a DevTV session on RealDWG. It is available for download (97.5 MB) or for online viewing. A big thanks to Adam Nagy from our DevTech team in Europe for delivering this informative session!

    Hello,

I’m thinking to start to develop an standalone app to show a DWG file that allow inser
    component and reorder.

I was reading and I not very sure if with RealDwg is it possible to build a DWG visualizer or is just for read , modify and save dwg

    Could youclarify my this please?

    Thanks

As mentioned via Twitter, RealDWG isn't a good choice for DWG viewing. DWG TrueView (or AutoCAD OEM, for more advanced capabilities) would be better.

I'm reading about DWG TrueView but it's just a DWG visualizer software and what I'm looking is a DWG visualizer to be used from .NET code .

I don't know if exist a kind of DWG visualizer that give an API to interact with components of DWG.

I don't just want a display of DWG I would like to have an API for managed by code the components inside of the DWG.

        does exist something like this?

For more fine-grained control you'd need AutoCAD OEM, which comes at a certain licensing cost.

ok thanks , I'm reading this article
Embedding AutoCAD 2009 in a standalone dialog bit.ly/1hB6trV

and reading the Differences between AutoCAD 2013 and AutoCAD OEM 2013 bit.ly/REzX0O

To investigate if all the feature I need are inside on AutoCad OEM
