Today marks the beginning of this year's Mental Health Awareness Week in the UK.

We're collaborating with University College London in a number of areas - not least through our Visiting Scholar, Fiona Zisch - and one important project is being highlighted alongside other projects that have been funded via UCL's Grand Challenge relating to Mental Health & Wellbeing.

The MINDS Living Lab - which stands for Mental Health, Interiors, Design & Sustainability - has been highlighted in this video, and I'm happy that my friend and close Autodesk Research collaborator Dagmara Szkurlat was featured alongside Fiona and another close partner of ours at UCL, Hugo Spiers.

Autodesk Research has a long history with Living Labs - for several years we ran our own in the Toronto office - so we're very happy to be involved in this project alongside UCL and other contributing partners.

Understanding the impact of design on mental health is extremely important if we're to improve our collective wellbeing. Thank you to UCL and others for their work in this space and for raising awareness of its importance!
